Washington
State University, USDA, the Cooperative Extension Service
and the Network wanted to reach food stamp families with
a regular program of information about food shopping, handling,
storage and safety, and to emphasize the importance of
families sharing meals together. Working closely with all
these organizations and a steering committee, we created
a series of four leaflets “Making the Most of It” – providing
helpful information in a straightforward, friendly and
easy to use format. These leaflets were translated into
seven different languages.
